  3. My belief on the difference between racism and racial stereotyping is that one is a learned behavior and the other is a perception. In my opinion, racism is a learned state or frame of mind. I think that racism is a belief that one race is dominant or superior over another race. I believe that racial stereotyping is an idea or assumption about a particular race, culture, group, or class of people. Racial stereotyping is a figure of speech made popular by word of mouth and it may not necessarily be true.

  4. Racism and stereo typing are the most common problems today in this world. These problems affect many people and lead them to do the wrong things because of this. To me racism is an inherited trait. Racism is facts that happen over a long period of time. Stereo typing is more like your opinion of someone. If I would say, "that man is poor because of his clothes." That would be stereo typing. Both of these problems will live in our society, because people won't teach you otherwise. To me stereo typing is just as bad as racism.

  5. Racism and Stereotyping are both huge problems present today in America. The difference in the two is that stereotyping is a belief that a great deal of people have about a certain race or ethnic group but racism is a discrimination and actions against a certain group; racism is thoughts that are acted upon.

  6. Racism and steryotyping go hand in hand. They both are classify differnet people with others of same chaaracteristics and then they make fun or disrespect them. I believe that the difference is that racism only has to do with race while steryotyping has to do with gender, race, characteristics, and many other qualities.

  7. Racism and stereotyping are usually thought as being the same thing. The difference is that racism is when certain racial groups may be denied rights or benefits, or receive preferential treatment. Stereotyping on the other hand is when people have a certain belief about specific social groups or types of individuals. An example of racism would be: if a white man got a job over a black man who was over qualified. An example of stereotyping would be if someone thought all blonde people are dumb.

  8. Racism and stereotyping are usually thought to be the same. The difference between the two is that racism is more on the racial group and ethnics and more politics and disrespects the person with bad treatment. Stereotyping is more on judging somebody and giving them a title before you get to know them or understand them in there way. It could be a discrimination between stereotyping but its mostly for material things, attitudes and etc. in my eyes.

  9. Racism and stereotyping have always been a problem because people often look down on individuals of a different race, thinking that one race is better then the other race.People also misjudge others because of what they have. The person could have more money it doesn't matter. However racism and stereotyping will always be a problem.
